Covid19 - our policy

Here at The Phoenix Academy the safety of our students and staff is our priority. We want to ensure that we are safe, protected and comfortable during sessions and whilst we operate.
This is why we have a strict COVID19 policy in place to ensure that we are all protected.

As an educational and extra curricular establishment we will be adhering to government guidelines with regards to COVID19 safety.

Social distancing:

Students and staff will maintain a social distance of 1m wherever and whenever possible.

Masks and face coverings:

Whilst we appreciate that it is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering in public we will be making sure our staff are wearing face shields during opening/closing of academy. Students are not required to wear a face covering however their decision to wear one will not be inhibited. We do suggest that face coverings are NOT worn during the “Song and Dance” module for safety reasons.

Hygiene:

We will be promoting hand washing, “catch it, bin it, kill it” policy and offering hand sanitizer to all students in every classroom and on entry/departure.

Isolation:

Students will not be permitted into academy if they are displaying symptoms of COVID19.
